Melanie Muma, FNP, is an experienced family nurse practitioner with a strong background in podiatry and wound care. She provides specialized care for homebound and at-risk patients, with a focus on preventive strategies, advanced wound management, and patient education. With a foundation in both nursing and podiatric practice, Melanie is dedicated to helping patients improve mobility, comfort, and overall quality of life.
Melanie earned her Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Graceland University in 2016 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, in 2009. She began her career in nursing before transitioning into podiatric care as the owner of Eastover Foot and Ankle in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she provided both surgical and non-surgical treatment for foot and ankle conditions.
Today, Melanie serves patients through Mountain West Podiatry as a mobile nurse practitioner, delivering podiatry and wound care directly to homebound individuals. Her unique experience as both a podiatry provider and nurse practitioner allows her to offer comprehensive, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s needs.
